Bingo! All these marches and town halls is basically telling white people "Please look into your heart and treat us as equals. Please?" It goes back to my point that black folk in America are too frightened to the prospect that the vast majority of white america is racist and despise us. They want to integrate into white society,they do not care about black liberation.

Yeah. There's also the simple fact that real equality means that white people have to give up some of their privileges to make up for the unfair advantage that they've had over black people for centuries. Very few people are willing to do this voluntarily especially in a time of uncertainty and in the face of impending economic meltdown. Those are the harsh realities.

I've always said that if whites hadn't been so racist and were more open to interracial marriage/kids with AA's. That our percentage of the pop would probably be like 1-2%.
