What they did was disburbing but not surprising. Early on I read BLM Global's website and it was evident they didn't have a plan or agenda for defunding the police, black men, and the justice system. It was literally written but people instead just followed slogans and talking points. What's sick is the fact that it was a legalized scam made on the death of blacks.

I went to their website early to see the list of what they were focusing on. Most of what they were focusing on was LGBTQ (especially Transwomen) and attempts to change the narrative on what a family is (by destroying the nuclear family). I do not remember anything in their list about helping Black men either.

Then recently I looked at where most of the money they donated went to, and very little seemed to go to any of the BLM local groups and families who suffered from police malfeasance. Most of their donations, that they did not spend on themselves and buying expensive homes, went to Transwomen organizations.

So in the end, I came to the conclusion that the BLM national organization was of no real benefit to our community and is an outright grift on the backs of Black male deaths.

Yea the people doing the work in the streets, who shed blood before this org took the spotlight - they are the ones I feel for. The got overshadowed by a money grabbing cause that shifted the message from the plight of Black people to some LGBT nonsense.
