the origins of chivalry are tied to medieval times a time when women were thought of as weak and second class citizens, it was only due to corsets and wide skirts and how heavy doors were in those days.

I'm not thinking about dude I slept with cuz I don't want him to be my man. There's a difference between having a physical attraction to someone and having an emotional attraction to someone, ours was just physical.
I think a man should let me go first because men are protectors and supposedly the heads of society while women are the nurtures and supporters of them. Men should do things, in my opinion, that are indicative of that.

Women are less likely to commit such crimes than males. Women control spending because society (constructed and ruled by WHITE MALES) advertises to attract females. Products are marketed for women - so of course, women control spending.
Women do not control the media.
Why do you think harassment laws in the workplace exist? Because there is a societal double standard: men feel that they have a right to control females still. Just look at that topic where a man is questioning whether he should have a right to control what a female does with HER body (regardless if he is the sperm donator, he cannot carry the baby so he cannot control something like that). Men can sleep around without consequence. If a female does it, she's labelled a whore and looked down upon.
Sexual harassment laws protect those who are more likely to be a victim of it and are at more of a disadvantage. This is the same reason why something like affirmative action exists, yet most white people don't understand why because they believe "the best person for the job should get the job, not because they're trying to fill a racial quota" - you have to look at the bigger picture: society is structured for a certain type of individual to succeed. A white male already has a huge advantage just by being a white male. He doesn't need "affirmative action" because he's not going to be judged based on his race or have fewer opportunities. Just like a male doesn't need harassment protection. Not saying that in either case there aren't exceptions, but that's just how it is.

Custody is granted based on what's best for the CHILD. It is not about the parents. The point of custody is to determine what's in the best interest of the child, and usually, it's for the child to remain with the mother (unless the father is a better alternative option). It's not a male/female war...it's about the child...and usually, the child wants to remain with his/her mom.
I was speaking as in terms of the same crime the sentencing is always longer for a male than a female.
And actually there are consequences for men sleeping around, stds, unwanted pregnancies or even domestic violence.
Laws should protect everyone and should be structured to protect both genders, or it's a form of discrimination.
While you think that may be the case it is not., unless your wife/gf/baby momma is a coke fiend addict more than likely she will get child support. I've actually worked in the family court, worked with lawyers etc.
A father will rarely get custody, yes he will get visitation, maybe even weekends if he's lucky, but unless the mom is some crackhead, meth head, she will get custody the majority of the time.
Usually the child wants to remain with both parents.
