Which is basically Reincars point
like i said i worked in the family court, rarely if ever the dad got custody, hell in some cases the grandparents of the mother got custody of the dad.
Which is basically Reincars point
The best interest of the child is usually with the mother, unless she is unfit. It is much easier for a male to move on with his life/remarry and start a new family than a female. Look at the thread someone posted the other day, condemning single mothers. Single mothers that take care of their children and hold it down getting a lot more negative reactions than single fathers...whether they take care of their children or a deadbeats.Which is basically Reincars point

Annual starting salary for a new teacher at lowest and highest pay rates: $45,709, $55,404 Is this a high school teacher or elementary or early childhood education or special education?
Salary for a teacher with more than 10 years of service at the lowest and highest pay rates: $76,021, $94,707 Which isn't a LOT considering how much say a male NBA player makes, some without a college education
(Teachers can reach the top pay scale 10 years after starting their careers. Within each pay scale there are four groups, which are based on teachers’ education and extra training, as well as years of experience. The pay raises based on years of teaching have taken effect automatically on Sept. 1. In Bill 115, the government has imposed a delay to Feb. 1 and asked teachers to also take three unpaid days. Again, at what level? High school? College?
Minimum wage is 10.50, a union job will at least have you starting out at 17-19 a hour, and unions are not needed in canada due to the labour code and the OLRB. Canada doesn't have affirmative action laws, only government jobs will give a higher credence to those disabled, women, minority, native american. I don't agree with unions because I'm all for capitalism and for businesses, they are more destructive than helpful. They work for those protected by them and who need them. I don't know of any hotel maid making $17-$19/hr and if that's the case, I'm going to tell some of my friends starting out at junior positions making $28K annually to go be a hotel maid cause that's a sweet deal.
People in Unions in canada make more than folks without a union and it has been the case for yers.
I guess males are good managers
Males can be good managers because traditionally, males are more rational and less emotional than females.
"Best interest of the child" is extremely subjective. I work with foster children and with social services and the system here is a big freakin' joke. I don't know how it is in Canada I've seen cases where CPS dosen't even notify fathers that their children are going into foster care, dosen't even look at the father and/or his family as a possible relative placement, and has even had the gall to attempt to terminate a fathers parental rights without giving him the oppurtunity to prove he has the reasonable means that he can care for the children. Like I said family court is a big joke. The best interest of the child is usually with the mother, unless she is unfit. why is the best interest of the child usually with the mother? another old wives tale.
When stats have clearly shown that children raised from single mothers are more likely to live a life of poverty, more than likely to be molested/abused, more than likely to end up in jail or on drugs or be promiscuous, and more than likely repeat the cycle and become a single parent themselves.
Of course it is easier for a male to move on with his life, because most men do not want to raise another's person child.

Lets debate later. i'd rather be simpin you in the ladies proof pic threadA lot of it is also because men don't exercise their rights. Example: a male that I know has a baby mama. Right now, they're on good terms. He helps pay for the kid, sees the kid when he wants, etc. But nothing has actually gone through the court system. He hasn't filed for official shared custody. The baby mama receives her money for the child...most likely in cash, so there isn't an official record, the child is in daycare, but the daycare only really knows that she is the primary caregiver because everything he does for that child hasn't gone through the court system and there isn't an official record that he's contributing to the bills and paying for this daycare. If things go sour between the two, there is no "proof" that he's done anything and she can technically take him to court and demand child support money. Guys think it's beneficial not to go through court to avoid paying regular payments, but in turn, that can bite them in the ass.

What do stats show about single fathers?
Lets debate later. i'd rather be simpin you in the ladies proof pic thread
Where's the link to the stats? I'm just curious.Stats show single fathers are responsible, hard working, and minus the odd Randall Dooley don't get abused or molested

If she ever goes to court that retroactive child support will screw him.
It sure will.
And if she is the primarily caregiver getting a daycare subsidy the city or region can come after for fraudulent benefits
