Basketball is the easiest one to get into. They’re shoo-ins at some point. Especially Al with with the UF era added in

Neither should get in. They only have one All-NBA selection combined and have never been a top-2 player on a title team. You could have interchanged either one of them with a LOT of different players and they still would have won the ring. So should they get in solely because they happened to be signed by the Celtics?

Didn’t Micheal Cooper just get in?
:mjlol:
Basketball HOF is a joke. NBA needs to create their own and make it players only.

Yeah, Michael Cooper getting in was fukking horrible. At least Horford and Jrue were starters and had All-Star appearances. Cooper was a fukking sixth man who never made a single all-star game and only played 25-30 minutes on those Laker title teams.

You're bringing up the post season while I was literally talking about regular season :mjlol:
:mjlol:So?
Comparing their postseason is disingenuous and irrelevant because I stated many times before about Jrue in the postseason outside of this postseason run in Boston hence me specifically bringing up the regular season :mjlol:
:mjlol:Jrue is average when he's not in the postseason. What are you talking about? You're arguing just to argue. Jrue is just a defensive specialist. He's not even qualified to be called 3nD. Middleton is better in every way except one facet.

Apparently Michael Cooper is a Hall of Famer now so at this point I don’t think there’s a barrier for anyone to get in. :yeshrug:
5 rings on a dynasty
8x All-Defense (5 1st Team)
DPOY at guard

:comeon:
zero time all stars are not hof

to me you are either a HOF or not, not some 30 years after you retire ehh you're ok now :picard:
It shouldn't have taken 30 years.
Yeah, Michael Cooper significantly lowers the floor on the Basketball HOF.
Prior to him getting in I would say neither Horford nor Holiday get in. Now both will.
See the above.

NCAA Titles have nothing to do with it.. It's the Pro-Basketball Hall of Fame.

and no, neither of them should make it.

We might as well put Horance Grant and Vernon Maxwell in there too
It’s the basketball HOF.

Jrue isn’t first ballot but he is a lock. He is one of the best defensive guards of all time. He played on middle to bad teams through his career so the accolades won’t be there, but he has been a great player for a long time.

Horford :ld:
He wasnt clearly the best player on those Florida teams in college and he has been a good NBA player.

Exactly

No way should either get in. If you don't even have to pause to think about it, then it's a clear "no".

I can't even think of an NFL comparison to this as it's that absurd.
Exactly. Guys like Hines Ward, Corey Dillon, Chad Johnson, Shaun Alexander, Steve Smith, Anquan Boldin, Ricky Watters etc..cant sniff the Pro Football HOF, yet anyone with an above avg resume is a candidate for the Basketball HOF. Like you said, it is absurd.

Horford by accomplishments and statistics has been a better NBA player than Holiday.

Jrue has more accomplishments than Horford if you count the career totals.

Horford may have scored more points, but Jrue been a more impactful player. He was just stuck on serious teams for most of his 20s.
