with that said, impact wrestling(formerly known as TNA) is the promotion you should be checking for at the moment, instead of AEW. impact pretty much caters to both sides of the coin. they give you both the f*ckery and the quality wrestling. and to top it off, it looks like theyre about to put their world title on another black man this saturday.

Initially I tried to root for it because I saw hope in it and was trying to steer away from the blatant bigotry and control of WWE but I can't help but overlook that there's no real black talent or talent in general that's there full time. I also feel weird watching guys wrestle that are in way less shape than me. Guys like Eddie Kingston, Moxley, young bucks I mean. I still watch it with but it's a choir. I like Britt Baker and Brody on the full time roster but that's about it since Omega, PAC and Page are hardly there.

in the meantime, they let private party shine. a YOUNG team that they brought up str8 from HOG.
and theyre trying to make will hobbs into a star out of nowhere.
nyla rose is black too, and He had the womens title already.
AEW should be exempt from such criticism.

It’s bad. I stopped watching only a few weeks in. I check clips and tweets and honestly I’d watch WWE (which sucks too) over AEW.

I tuned into the PPV where a super Chris Jericho was wrestling a jobber in a match where you had to get thrown into a huge mimosa tub to lose. Also saw the terrible debut of Rusev they handled that in true late WCW/early TNA fashion. Killed any hype dude had. The botches are the most entertaining thing they have going for them.

Basically what AEW confirmed to me is the marks who claim Vince is holding them down and they could do so much better with more freedom are full of shyt.

I'm not even saying this as an AEW hater. I really want them to study NJPW and copy their formula also cut back on the flippy botches and create divisions for some of the really tiny guys then perhaps have 1 go over in a Rey Mysterio fashion because a 120 lb kid from Jurassic express is not dazing anyone over 160 irl.

most of the black wrestlers that are poppin, were locked into deals by the time AEW started. only one that i can think of that really passed up on AEW is swerve scott, and he signed his WWE deal before AEW started doing shows. so he prolly didnt know what to expect. i will say, the advantage the WWE has with free agents in general, is that they have like 5 different shows to stick you on, as opposed to AEW which has one big ass stacked roster where youre bound to get lost in the shuffle.

Everything that is on television is entertainment. As dry as the daily news is that is a form of entertainment too.

When I watch any show on television especially a children's show in wrestling I expect to be at least entertained. What's wrong with that?

broh, im not giving AEW props simply because theyre better than the WWE. i could care less about the WWE actually.
besides, the best promotion is NJPW, and we gave you a promotion that you would enjoy more, in IMPACT Wrestling. impact is the cool promotion.

RVD's contract ran out a couple weeks ago. so you might get your wish on him going to AEW.

Neither AEW or WWE are cool imo. Especially wwe and especially wwe in the last few years. At least aew feels like it’s fresh.

I want to get into aew, but wwe pretty much finally killed my interest in watching any wrestling right now. I’ve only really watched the first episode and dropped off aside from watching clips posted of anything important. I’ve only really kind of kept up with nxt, but that’s only been the takeovers and whatever Io is doing if I even get around to doing that.
