Is A Philosophy Degree worthless?

One of my majors was journalism and I bet very little people on this board make more than me. But it all depends on the school you graduated from,internships,networking,grades,and experience.

well i've got some things lined up and im about to start school in the fall at UNLV. any quick tips for somebody just startin out on that path?

A philosophy degree is great if you plan on debating socrates and Plato publically in the middle of town square.
