Movie was OK. I just couldn't get into it..
The acting was great specifically from the main actor Oscar Isaac.. he really did his thing and carried the movie.

i do agree with those that say for the title there was very little violence
and isaac said "my business" about 600 times in the film and i still have very little idea what the hell his business really was . maybe i'm A.D.D though

BTW in light of the Oscar Nominations, I thought this movie was supposed to make Oscar Isaac a big star? Guess not. lol
it just came out at my local indie theater today.
not sure how heavily the screeners were distributed though but it literally was released the last day of 2014
maybe the academy doesn't like him i think him and the last coen bros movie were snubbed completely too

No Oscar nods means it will stay an art house thing. Plus the screeners. Not alot of people will pay to see this.

I gave it an 8/10
Issac was fantastic in this film. As were Chastain and Brooks.
The film may have dragged at times but the last half hour was gritty and suspenseful. Very well done!
