some people were getting at him in there about that too. to me it seems like Irv may have been drunk that day and went on one of his not so humble rants where he was feeling himself too much. you even had some dikkriders in there :cape:for him saying Mic played himself because he didnt want to sign with Irv. in there speaking like they were there. :snoop:

Mic has said numerous times that he was going to sign but Irv said something to him that pissed him off and he didnt want to, then when he stepped to Irv, Irv told him, he shouldve MADE Mic sign the contract. like really, on some mob shyt and Mic didnt want nothin to do with him after that.

i get what u saying but isn’t the bolded what we all do?? Lol specially on this message board...everybody speak on situations and people and judge like we were there. But i don’t even think their exchange was THAT bad...Both acknowledged they had love for each other. It wasn’t that crazy. Prolly just need a convo one on one without social media to settle everything.

there is a photo somewhere when Mic was the headliner and Irv had all the Inc rolling with him before any of them were known, Ja too. that was the original Inc. but they had some friction and Mic didnt want to sign with him. Mic has always been diplomatic about it because I remember back when he came out with his 3rd album and the Inc was big at that time, he said he rather be an owner than a worker so he felt it was best for him to do his own thing, but said Irv helped him out when he saw what he was trying to do. Maybe he was just saying that last part. I dont know about when the Inc was popping but Irv wanted to sign him even before then, Mic was supposed to be the first artist for what would later become the Inc. I think he wanted to sign Mic to a management deal, just like Dame wanted to manage Jaz and Sauce.

Irv moved on to Ja and iirc it was Lyor who wanted Ja out of CMC and that was the beginning of the Inc.

Irv had Ja way before they were working on Mic's first album though, so I'm not mad at him for always being loyal to Ja. They were all together back then. Irv got them a deal with the same label that Mic was on, TVT. They actually dropped some shyt on the label before Mic's album even dropped. Like a year before. I just think Mic didn't want to get caught in the mix there. Ja stuck with Irv through all kinds of shyt, bad press, court trials, street issues, etc. Mic kinda dipped right after the second album flopped.

I try not to. I only quote what I heard the parties said and provide links to it. I really aint gonna be speaking on a lot of this stuff without receipts. one guy in there said some shyt and dont even know either of them and had to fall back when Mic told him what he was speaking on didnt even happen like that. Mic sounded more genuine with his love, Irv seemed more like yeah, whatever nikka, I got love for you too...but not really.

again, in all fairness, Mic said in an interview they fell out because Irv implied he was gonna strongarm him into signing some shyt. if it wasnt for that, Mic wouldve been on the Inc. also Mic said he wasnt about the street shyt, he didnt like to be out like that even.

Mic seems like an introvert. And I don’t put it past Irv to try to flex some fake ass muscle on a nikka he perceived as weak.

When did he say this?

I've known the Lorenzo's since back in the day. Never heard anything remotely close to this being the case. I don't know if that's true, lol.

Dude was pretty much the first rapper to do a reality TV show. He had a Love and Hip Hop show before that was even a thing, lol. He's always been a quiet dude, but he was definitely trying to branch out and do more things away from the music in TV.

I feel u. I just know he came out on FB or one of them social media sites a couple years back and had to explain that he doesn’t miss the industry and is perfectly fine with his life after they tried to say something to the effect that he was a failure.

I didnt say he said strongarm, I said he implied it. just want to clear that up.

sn: I dont know Mic personally like that but I used to have a rap video show back in the late 90's and I used to catch up with different artists, especially when they came to my city to perform and get them to do drops and play their videos. most of them exchanged math and kept in touch for a while. hung out with him and Flush briefly and them is extra regular bros, very cool.

interview below, starts right off the bat going in to it.

That's a shame though.

Because I've seen Irv go to the bat crazy for his people. I saw him work mad hard to get Flush his deal with TVT, and network like crazy and make mad calls to get him that production lineup he had on there. Dude got him beats from Beatminerz, Hi-Tek, LES, Buckwild, etc. He works hard for his crew. I just think that Mic didn't want to fukk with him anymore. Irv wanted to oversee that second album, and Mic wanted to do a Bad Boy type project, and then it flopped. Irv always said that he tried to warn him not to do that. I think the relationship really soured after that.
