That's cause he already got helped by the hands of Hov. Let's not pretend he didnt have to go work under hov after hov played with his BM and left condoms on the baby seat. So although he's up now,he was down and hov helped.

Hov didn't make that deal happen. Unless you know something we all don't.

Wrong,if fat joe is telling the truth about Nas calling him on some "stand close to me i'm about to war with this nikka",then yes Joe is worthy and deserving of a call on the end of that beef.

Nah. Even if Nas said that to him (which he probably didn't, Nas always been a solo dolo type of dude - especially when it comes to beef), Joe didn't stand close to him anyway. Didn't allow Nas to mention the Pun fight on Ether, wasn't dissing Jay on no tracks at that time, nothing. Now he wants recognition? For what?

He was running the company, don't dance nikka.
Nas went to work under a nikka that smutted the love of his life.
And on a label he shytted.
Nas has no pride or honor and stands for nothing.

All Camel did was get Nas sloppy seconds...and he only went after that broad cuz he was a Nas stan anyway. Wanted to be the same places the GOAT had already been. Kinda like how stay ripping off Nas rap style his whole career.

You're not making sense.
If conversation with Joe was so unnecessary when it was ended then he shouldn't have had the conservation going into the beef in the first place, shyt simple.

I'm making perfect sense. I don't believe Nas said that to Joe anyway, which I made pretty clear. What I said was IF he had said that, it's a moot point, cuz Joe didn't ride for Nas anyway. It's called a hypothetical.

If you really believe joe's lying, which i doubt that he is,then this conversation is pointless.

But in the event,he did go to joe talking like that, then yea he's in violation.
How you gon go to somebody about beef but feel like it's unimportant to speak to them about deading that shyt
senseless

:duck::duck::duck:

Nas was not signed by Hov to Def Jam and Hov was never his boss or in charge of his projects there. This came out of Jay-Z mouth verbatim in their first Interview together with Sway. All these questions answered in this interview years ago...Stop making shyt up.

Start after 4 min mark...
"I didn't sign Nas I partnered with Nas... You can't sing an Artist of his stature"

Jay didn't even bring him to Def Jam

Nice of hov to let one of his workers have some dignity about selling out. To his baby mama's mack. Whom also gave his daughter a sticky surprise on long car rides.
Nas will do anything for $

Hov didnt facilitate that deal. L.A. Reid did get your facts straight.

Damn, I wouldn’t want to be friends with some of ya’ll dudes. Cant even change your perspective for a moment.

All I was saying was that given the circumstances, I can see how Joe would feel a way about the situation. Especially if we are taking what he said on his podcast at face value.

Let me be clear, Nas didnt owe him anything. But it would have been courteous to send a message once the beef was squashed. Especially knowing the history that Joe and Jay have. Nas used that history to have Joe stand by him in the beef.

I only brought up past stuff with 50, Mega and Lake just to show a pattern Nas has with communication problems. He could be the type that gets at you when he needs something but then is MIA when something is needed return.

In Lake’s case, if we are to believe him, Nas called Lake (the street dude) to a meeting when he had to meet with high profile street people but didnt join Lake, when he called Nas (the music/industry figure), in a meeting with record executives.

Anyways, this isnt a big deal, but we are all on a hip hop forum and the Nas vs Jay Z beef and reconciliation was a major moment in hip hop with a lot of moving parts and spin off stories. So it is still semi interesting today.

Something I found interesting: Fat Joe and Irv’s name keep coming up. Its funny that pre-beef it was Irv and Jay all day and Nas and Fat Joe/TS were clearly comrades.
But post beef you dont see Irv with Jay much (if at all) and you never see Nas and Joe together but you see Nas with Irv and Joe signed to Jay...and Nas and Jay are the best of friends.
