Oh yea and if Nas new album proves anything its that he's better rapping about things goin on in his real life than trying to kick knowledge...kick knowledge but do it sparingly....leave that to other nikkas and just spit about what's going on in your life....that rings true for I think majority of rappers but most are afraid to.

There's nothing wrong wit the shyt Nas was kickin on both Untitled and DR...its funny...cause I had an argument wit somebody about this Nas album..the nikka was sayin he don't want Nas to talk about his personal issues...its all proof that diff fans want diff shyt...

Exactly. And the fact is, Nas has something (a lot actually) for everyone in his discography. Any type of song you could think of, Nas has a masterful version of it on one of his albums or unreleased catalog. How many rappers can really say that?

Jay got duds in his catalog....Eminem DEFINITELY does....Biggie only had 2 albums PERIOD..lol...

lol..

u misread kid. I was replying to the question of what rappers are analyzed as much as Nas.

As I said before, Black Though and GFK are more consistent than Nas and have been out pretty much just as long.

I feel like people confuse consistency for monotony. Black Thought and Ghost have been on cruise control for a few years. Last time Ghost tried to do something different, he failed miserably (Wizard of Poetry). It's too bad that record was so poorly recieved, because I was looking forward to Ghost going in a different direction. I feel like he's not as fearless as Nas, who will do whatever he wants creatively regardless of how critics and fans respond. Now he's gearing up for a Supreme Clientele 2 and a collab with Sheek no one cares about. And I'm a HUGE Ghost fan. Nas has surpassed him though. Black Thought was never in the conversation, just a really good MC.

Well I can't understand how people hate don mega cube...I loved that shyt....but sum fans hated it and wanted angry muslim Cube only lol....different fans like different shyt but a good artist finds the balance....Cube and Nas failed to find the proper balance which made them drop duds in sum peoples eyes....that's the risk u take if u wanna take risk....learn to find a balance to please everybody if ur a great artist....

And besides alotta nas fans been callin everything he does classic for years, hard to take a lot of em seriously
