Only later, after the end of Apartheid, did the new government reveal the story. According to a South African nuclear official, Waldo Stumpf, the idea was to keep the bombs secret; only if the country were threatened with invasion would it hint at its capability, or conduct a nuclear test to reveal it.

This is America’s Suez moment. This will further isolate America and will do significant damage to its reputation. Whoever becomes president afte Trump is going to inherit a big mess. I said Trump would accelerate America’s decline. The final nail would be a bloody war with Iran which would be a stalemate with high casualties and more damage to America’s reputation. War with Iran would be America’s Rocroi and Manzikert.
