Apple always manages to mess up new devices. They just announced the iPhone X has touch screen issues almost a year after release.

People better be careful with this new iPad and not just toss it in a backpack or leave it somewhere it might get accidentally sat on.

I can understand being careful about making sure a glass screen doesnt get sat on. But having to make sure it doesnt get bent when it bends so easily is, in my opinion not a good look for such a premium device. Just because its premium doesnt meant it has to be fragile to all hell.
Apple care is MANDATORY at this point for all their iOS based devices going forward.
Too bad apple care only last 2 years

I mostly leave mine on the bed and that's usually where I use it so I'm not worried but it's disturbing to see something I paid $1000 for snap like a twig under minimal pressure.

I'm not putting Apple care on it. I'll take my chances. If I take good care of it it's unlikely to break. Instead of putting Apple Care of it if I was gonna spend an extra $129 I would get more storage.

Most of the things he tries to bend don't bend or retain their form. They're designed with enough structural integrity to withstand the force a person could put on them.

It's 2022 and I'm still using this iPad Pro. I ended up getting a 2019 iPad Mini also though. The 12.9 inch iPad is just so large. It's mostly a video device for me.

Also still using it. Only issue I have is not being able to easily transfer files as i would a laptop. Can’t install bootleg shyt like a laptop either. IPADs will never completely replace laptops cause Apple doesn’t want stuff outside its system.

Still using mine as well. shyt is still fluid and quick. Apple silicon is no slouch
