Just finished my workout and it's 8:12 AM. I'm kinda paranoid if I don't take this protein shake that I wont reap the after workout benefits. But I need to wait at least until noon to eat because I can't be stopping my food intake at no damn 5 pm. It's easier to avoid temptation to eat early than late.

Just my $0.02 but working out early AM and waiting to Noon isn’t the right move. You should stress your system then wait 4 hours to give it nutrients.

Your not starving, your fasting

When your fasting your body will use your fat stores for energy, hence why we dont die in our sleep.

When your starving you have no fat stores for energy and will die

\

During the time your not eating it allows your body to use the energy stored as Glycogen which is your body's go to place for energy, once that is used up your body will turn to fat for its energy thats when your burning actual body fat and not just Glycogen\Sugars. Doing this regular will result in having washboard abs
:takedat:

Remember 1 pounds of fat = about 3000 calories, I imagine many of us have more than 1 pound of fat on them, so you could fast for as long as you have body fat - loads do. Just ensure to get your Electrolytes from salts or even Sugar Free Powerade and take a MultiVitamin a day,

Yes any time frame is fine. Your body will get use to it. I personally do 6pm to 12pm for my fasting time as i find it easier to get lunch and dinner to make up my calorie totals
Update. Been on it a week

Eating window : 8am to 2pm
Ive weight trained Saturday, Tuesday (hit 2 personal records), and today, but Ive done HIIT almost every day at night for 20 mins with extended periods of cardio on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and today. I will weigh myself on Friday. I notice that i have more energy and noticed a bit of leaning out in my thighs. Starting weight is 190 at 5'9/5'10. Im trying to drop down to 170 so i can get a 6pack and hopefully wont look as top heavy. People currently assume im around 170 though

5'9 190 is not bad at all. The IF will definitely make you cut as long as you're keeping the carbs/sugar low. You could probably even expedite your goal by mixing in the keto on top of IF.

Right now i got a bit of a stomach as the result of bulking nonchalantly. Never had noticeable vascularity neither.

Hated how i felt on keto though. And towards the end of the day id end up feeling light heated from inadequate meal prepping

Yeah breh that damn keto flu is no joke. Over the last few months I implemented prolonged fasting of 36-40hrs at least once a week, it really gets you into heavy ketosis quickly and when I ate the high fats with no carbs/sugar, one day I had a sore throat and the for two days I had a headache, but I dropped like 9lbs in a week.

Keto is a DIET, IF is a lifestyle. I'm about the same height as you, and I'm walking around right now at about 178-183, But I started out at damn near 300, so for me its about heavy toning so the flab can go away from my midsection and lower breast plate. But yeah breh that IF will have you at 170 in no time, you could also do the one meal a day IF which is what I normally do and that also helps.

Tomorrow im actually gonna try one meal. Gonna overload on veggies with 6 eggs with a vanilla protein shake ( it tastes good :manny:), 3 mangos and one acai drink.

Have you thoight about wearing a weighted vest during cardio? I use a 20lb vest occasionally on long jog/walks to try to overwork my calfs and "yoke" area . The building up of your yoke might help lessen the noticeability of your lower breast plate fat

:ohhh:

I never thought about that honestly but its a good idea, I'm doing a 3mile run tomorrow. I'll see if i can find one. My arms are brolic as fukk, it's just that damn lower chest. Over the past few months I was more heavy on cardio versus heavy weightlifting. But even then I look really lean, but I'm not satisfied yet but shyt I came a long way. Doing a lot strength training now. Good looking out on that vest though.

Thats good, dont get too worried about the scale remember. More about how you look in mirror and how clothes fit.

lol thats Keto flu, your body has been used to using Carbs\sugars as fuel for years. All of a sudden your changing that up, so once your body has used up the stored glycogen it has to get its energy from elsewhere - your stored fat. That adaption is when your feeling like shyt. But once your passed it, you will be fine.

If you get headaches when your fasting drink some salt water, your prob low on electrolytes.

Just like with anything the more you do it, the more easier it becomes
