You post his Orlando clips where he sort of got more minutes, they chose not to keep him on their team and then you say he's in same tier as Chet and Wemby. Oh wow. Either that's a really low tier in your opinion or you are overrating the hell out of Bol Bol.

Context. He said Wemby isn’t the first player of his height with that skill set, and used Bol Bol as an example. He also said Bol Bol is lazy, whereas Wemby wants to be great.

This is where the NBA is VERY hypocritical.
PROBABLY EXPECTED THEM

I get it. The league loves Wemby and wants to see him in big games immediately. However, if the Spurs did everything in a short sighted manner, a) they wouldn't have him-- remember when everyone wanted the Spurs to finally tank cuz they wanted to stay on the treadmill? b) would do a lot of crazy stuff to try to compete now, and they'd honestly get killed for that too. Anytime a young player is teammates with a 30 year old, it's always "trade the vet, get picks, focus on the young guys' timeline." The Spurs are doing that and are being criticized. I'm surprised we haven't heard one of these idiots suggest they loan Wemby to a contender like in soccer.
Not to mentjon the bulls had to play teams like the big 3 celtics, Zekes pistons, J's Sixers, and those 60 win bucks teams 5-6 times a year. Sheeesh

Part of the problem was simply not letting him rock with Tre Jones. If the goal was simply to let Wemby develop, wins be damned, then pair him with a smart PG who doesn't turn the ball over and will just feed him.

As someone who always points out the political prisoners of the league, Bol Bol ain't one of them. Bol is an example of hard work beating talent when talent don't work hard.
