Wemby's the better player but it's impossible to deny Holmgren's impact on OKC. Yes, SGA might be the MVP but Chet is the only difference between last year's team and they've already won more games than last season and might finish first in the west. He also started at center to begin the season while Victor took a couple months. That was a really big deal given his frame.

Basketball is different now. The game is much faster, teams score more, and shoot WAY more 3's. It's just not possible for a rookie to impact winning when teams are putting up 120 or better every other night.
If Lebron was a rookie this year his season would be going exactly like Wemby's is. When he was on the floor his team would be up and as soon as he sat down his team would be down 10. Rinse and repeat until he has 12 wins like Wemby does.
