am i the only person that gets tired of hearing the same contrived narratives over and over and over and...

of course he has to win for it to matter. it's also year 2 and the spurs were in the toilet when he joined.

give young breh some time, damn.

Take Wemby off the spurs and they prob got the same amount of wins as the toronto raptors
spurs are in 9th and are competitive in every game they play

Exactly

The real issue is these people are burnt talking about 82 games, that internet ADHD took a little longer to kick in with the old heads but how most of them have just as short attention spans as kids

Spurs are 9th in the West, of the teams above them, 6 of em feature a legit superstar (MVP candidate or NBA champions) as their #1 option

Those other 2 teams,

The rockets finally broke through this season with a proven coach

And Ja is literally the most watched nikka in the league when he's out there

Wemby's Spurs are right outside the door and we aren't even halfway through year 2, he's doing just fine

All Wemby needed was two non trash vets (Paul and Barnes) and for the Spurs to stop playing their two worst players (Branhim and Wesley) and now they a 500 team and should really be a few games above 500 (blown leads to the clippers and jazz, should have beat the 76ers when embiid got ejected, should have beat the knicks if literally anyone else showed up to play, should have beat the Wolves but got jobbed by the refs) :pachaha: .

He doing this with a power forward who shoots freethrows one handed, a rookie point guard who can't shoot (Castle), and a starting 2 guard (Vassel) barely averaging 13 a game :pachaha:

If the Spurs don't do anything else but sign Ingram in the offseason and trade for Big Val to be the backup center they might win 50 games next year :mjlol:
