Surface level debate.
The team just drafted #1 overall. Tf yall expecting.
i'm a bron stan but melo took a 17-65 team to 43-39 and made the playoffs in a brutal western conference and had better statsAll I'm saying is Bron took a team that was 17-65 the year before to 35-47 his rookie year.
NBA discourse continues to be trash. This is the most loaded western conference the NBA has seen in years. You have two all time great players on 9 and 10 seeds
What the fukk is Wemby supposed to do as a rookie when he plays with no competent point guard? He legit could win DPOY as a ROOKIE! That alone should tell you something.

/threadThey're starting Julian champaigne.
Couple wins against PHX, they just beat OKC, they have a W against MIN, and the Lakers. Those are all the “good” teams they’ve beaten in the west, not counting teams like Portland. And this is supposed to prove what breh? The Spurs are 8-26 against the Western Conference this season
The Spurs are 4-22 against the Eastern Conference this season
Thats valid for a superstar in their prime not a rookie. Bulls were 30-52 MJs rookie year...28, 5, 5 as a rookie is still ridiculous. Its harder for an individual player to impact the modern game with the zone and 3 spamming.
ThisThe funny thing about this is that Wemby is a + in almost every Spurs lineup, so he actually is "winning" the game, the Spurs have a lead when he goes to the bench. It's just that Zach Collins comes in shooting 9% from 3 and getting dunked into the basket so much that as soon as Wemby comes out the other team goes on 18 - 2 run and by the time Wemby comes back in to start the second the Spurs are down 14. So not sure how Wemby is supposed to win more games when the Spurs get destroyed when he goes to the bench.
Funny thing is if the Spurs don't do anything in the summer and all that happens is Victor starts playing 38 minutes a night...he might legit take these bums to the playoffs next year...cause those 8 or 9 extra minutes is one or two less 12 - 2 runs for the other team, which could be as much as a 20 point swing.
It's mind blowing how little shaq and chuck know about modern nba basketball.
Now look what Robinson and Duncan did their rookie seasonsAll I'm saying is Bron took a team that was 17-65 the year before to 35-47 his rookie year.
