The boxes are set when you get them. So if a chance of better gear is your goal, rank the actual character up first

Me either, i just figured they might charge for the costume later so might as well get it free. wonder woman was level 4 when I started. Level 9 by the last event, and I had the the a.i. play the entire thing.

You can edit the a.i. attributes so she won't grab to complete the event where you can't grab.
