Can't wait to see how the party and the shills try to pitch voting for them lol. The so called serious people treat this more like their favorite TV show than anything else. Emotionally invested but totally fine. That's the only way to explain such naiveté.

Is there any precedent of what Manchin has don’t this fall?

He is actively negotiating a bill that he decided to vote no on at the last minute

I can’t imagine this happening much in the history of this country.

If only we had President Bernie to Wrestle manchin into submission to vote :wow:
A masterclass :wow:

progressives really got hit with the okey doke and laid out like Woodley :wow:
FTFY.

Progressives didn't trust Manchin, they "trusted" the President who said he had Manchin covered. This is a colossal L for Biden and the country is the one who will suffer.

Why are @wire28 and @Atlrocafella so happy?

Biden himself told the Progressive Caucus to their face in person, I'm getting the 50 votes in the Senate. The CPC largely agreed.

Are you all saying they should have held out on the infrastructure bill?

@Atlrocafella told you all months ago he doesn’t care about politics. He only cares about his pockets and Georgia sports.

@wire28 is one of the trolls of HL. He doesn’t care and it is genuine “lulz” for him.

Manchin got the infrastructure portion piece he wanted and finessed the Progressives on everything else :mjlol:
He finessed Biden not them. They stood as long as he supported them. Basically was setting them up to take the blame. No one is going to blame them for this. I’m honestly surprised he did Joe like this. Even Lieberman voted for some form of Obamacare.

Can this man get kicked out of the democratic party so they can clearly move on that they can't rely on him? He's clearly a republican and the fact that he went on Fox of all places to announce this shows he's just playing a political game. This is a major L for all working class people. It's amazing that we can't pass anything that DIRECTLY benefits people in need. This guy is saying the majority of the people in his state can't use this help? Do they love to OWN democrats then to see their own progress? This is beyond nuts but what's worse is this will be all forgotten in 6 months when another bill comes along and he hustles the party again.

49ers..Braves..Celtics
Charlemagne: So who is the president? Joe Biden or Joe Manchin?:ahh: that aged well like Illmatic

Trust Joe Biden brehs
Trust Joe Manchin brehs
Trust corporate dems to do the right thing brehs
Trust progressives to put up a good fight brehs

What a fukking embarrassment, and this includes my fellow so called "progressives" who caved!:snoop::snoop::snoop:

Sure it's an embarrassment and '22 is long gone now.. but nobody actually stated in here how to deal with Manchin. The margins are razor thin.. how does Biden get a man on board who doesn't want to be on board?

Of course the cynics will just say hey Biden doesn't care either... Fine.. people who have that opinion aren't going to bother to address the Manchin issue because they already believe it's a Biden issue.

But let's say it really is a Manchin issue.... seasoned politicians of Higher Learning... what do you do with Manchin? We've been wondering all year... what's the solution?
