:wtf:

theres natives in guyana?

Yes, I've known a few Natives (Buck man) in my life, played some sports with one growing up. In Guyana you can find some in the cities, but you wont see many. Most come out of the bush looking for work. But there is definitely many that still live in the Amazon.

No it was a vast uninhabited jungle frontier before the Euros came :skip:

lol, dog there are natives everywhere. Guyana is no different. Google them. Slang for them is buck people. But its not really something you want to say to one you don't know.

:comeon:

obviously at some point the western hemisphere was populated by various native groups but i didnt realize they still survived in guyana, considered how many other places theyve been wiped out

I wasnt coming at you or anything. But ya Guyana is like 99% undeveloped jungle. There are still a lot of native population in Brazil and the Amazon. But Buck people been around as part of our demographic for a long time.

Country could have been more developed by now but with such a tiny population shyts difficult. Last year the government was trying to intice investors, and expatriates to buy up some of that undeveloped jungle. It was going at something like 100 acres for $500. I may have to buy up some of that for when I get :flabbynsick:

They look very much like Chinese people.
who got there first?
Blacks. The British brought the Chinese and Indians to work in the fields when slavery was abolished.
