Kiss was a better lyricist but Buddens made better songs.

Always felt like that was held him back from dropping the classic we know he's capable of as he can bar you to death but his songwriting isn't on par with his flow and wit with with the pen. Maybe thats because those two set the bench so high?

Mood Musik 2 the best project between the 2 but I still would say Kiss a better overall songwriter

Kiss problem especially with his first album was going for hit records. If he woulda dropped an album with songs like his solo records on Ryde Or Die Vol 1 and 2 and WATS it woulda been a top 10 maybe top 5 album of the decade.

KTGG took awhile to grow on me but when it did, it actually was a dope ass album.

The production is what threw people off, Kiss lyrics still made it a dope album

And KOD had a similar problem. Replace the 3 obvious single attempts (joints with Kanye, Pharrell and Mariah) and it’s a classic album

Believe it or not, he had a lot of stans back on SOHH and AllHipHop. They dwindled after the 2000's though when Budden transitioned into a podcast guy.

Jada is ill freestyle type lyricist who can write decent songs. He is average with the range and versatility. Still a TRUE boom nap hip hop to the core MC.

Budden is a unique talent with his storytelling and emotion.

I like Budden just as much as I do Kiss. One is a better songwriter and one is better freestyler. Tie to me.
