How does an atom compose a solid?

They're microscopic and your looking at it from a perspective that's many times greater.
Much like the difference between being in a protest mob and seeing all the different people close to you and viewing them off the top of a building and just seeing a moving mass.

The atom has a center (nucleus) which the protons & electrons orbit.

The planets have a center (sun) which they orbit.

First and foremost, I don't know much, if anything, about physics etc...

BUT I do have the hunch that at some point in human history we made the crucial error of dividing knowledge into different categories: maths, physics, astrology, language, philosophy, music etc...I can't back it up nor prove it, but I do have this hunch that everything, and I do mean EVERYTHING is interlinked and that by studying these things separately we've done ourselves (as a species) a HUGE disservice. Just think about how the economy would be different if we took environmental costs (and other "external negativities") into account on a larger scale.

I have the feeling intellectuals in ancient times had a better understanding of all of this, but then various ignorant empires and ideologies came thru and crushed the buildings. :shaq2:

The concept of our banking system/economy was built on greed and used for the purpose of control.

Like I said in the OP...Materials don't exist. The vanity of "owning" Materials is also used as a form of distraction and control.

If our society was in a place where we had true appreciation for life and the study of life, we would not need an "economy" we would do our part to take care of each other instead of being territorial.

Hmm...I see where you're coming from, but I can't go as far as saying "materials don't exist"...maybe you mean that the VALUE that we give certains materials often comes out of nowhere (Diamonds being a fine example). But those materials DO physically exist.

And the same with not needing an "economy", it depends what you call economy...modern economy is basically a mix of capitalism and socialism, but there are other forms of economy...basically any form in which a given society decides to organize trade (which is inevitable) and ownership (same, and it can be collective ownership) is an economy, whether it's capitalistic or not. Even just trading a goat for a three chickens is economy.

I see what you are saying about what can be considered an economy but I am referring to what you originally stated about where our economy would be had we studied all these areas as one field versus "math", "science", "geology", ect.

To that I am saying, the concept of paper money and assets are derived from the concept of hoarding. The paper money system that we know today originated when Gold was the main commodity used in trading and people felt that carrying heavy gold bars was a burden...that is when people called "Goldsmiths" offered to hold the gold (similar to how your bank holds your money for your safety/convenience)

So they would write paper receipts stating how much of your gold they were holding. When ever you wanted to withdraw the gold you would bring them back the receipt. After a while people decided that instead of withdrawing the gold to make a purchase, they can just pass the receipt to the vendor. It is more convenient.

The Goldsmiths realized that people were doing this and that there was no way to know for sure how much gold the goldsmiths had, so they began writing receipts for gold that didn't exist. That was the birth of Fractional Reserve Banking.

In my opinion, when society began collecting gold as a form of currency it was showing a form of hoarding and when the Goldsmiths became greedy and wanted to account for gold that didn't exist it .created this corrupt system that we have today

As far as materials don't exist. Yeah, they do exist but in the grand scheme of things they are of so little value. The things that we could do with the lost knowledge is far more valuable than material things that we focus our time and our attention on.

Pick up any book that touches on Sacred Geometry that goes into this topic a lot deeper. I bought this book the other day:
