I remember all of this and it started with Harlem Nights. But yeah Boomerang and Harlem Nights are two movies held in high regard in the black community. But the white media shyt on both movies like they were terrible. But mostly the problem was they were too black for them.
its probably similar to reasons why white reviewers didnt like harlem nights as well. it ruins their sense of belief
