Be honest, though. Don't a lot of black people (especially in the hood) feels the exact same way that white man does?

Why was the makeup of "The Cosby Family" unrealistic to some Black American's, African-American's, but not to others?
Answer (1 of 5): Cosby Family was unrealistic to done and real to others because of individual backgrounds. Most people at least high school educated, middle class, and above would find the Huxstables real. However, Black people from lower socioeconomic rungs would find Cosbys really unrealistic....www.quora.com

I remember all of this and it started with Harlem Nights. But yeah Boomerang and Harlem Nights are two movies held in high regard in the black community. But the white media shyt on both movies like they were terrible. But mostly the problem was they were too black for them.
its probably similar to reasons why white reviewers didnt like harlem nights as well. it ruins their sense of belief
Harlem Nights was white people's worst nightmare when black folks got ON CODE and took down the all-powerful white mob.
