I don't think they "had" to do anything. But when you have a console that consistently sells and switches have consistently sold since they've came out year after year regardless of the hate, it's good practice for them to be like "we got you".

I have my og 3 and I had a 4 for years. I've personally never ever had an issue with drift. Only time I heard of it aside from people throwing their controllers was on switch. When I read the story about the dualsense drifting I started asking everyone I know and they are like I've had 4 ps3 controllers and 3 ps4 controllers they suck."

And to top if off you can't even get PlayStation branded controllers anymore only 3rd party. What kind of bullshyt is that?

I don't have hate for any system or company but Nintendo didn't invent drift. Even though I didn't want to send mine in during the time before rona when turnaround was less than 7 days, I ordered off Amazon and fixed mine in 15mins and updated the slide locks for less than 15 bucks. It was worth it for me to do cause between the household it was easily getting least 6-8 of gameplay.

Nintendo basically denied that the drift issue exist until they started facing class action lawsuits. At that point, they started offering free repairs on joy cons. No one is saying they invented drift. All that was being said was that people are doing exactly what you are and that is trying to downplay how bad an issue is for a company they love.

after I cleared the first area you land on I was like it’s ok

but it was until I started exploring aphrodite’s region that the game hooked me in

granted it’s possible the game will never hook you in

ya that’s still pretty early...not saying that you will necessarily like the game but at that point I still had several complaints and was still developing a feeling for the game/story

that was actually one of the ok/fun ones that I didn’t need a walkthrough for...some of these shyts tho are frustrating...ares’ one is crazy but it’s dope how instinctive solving some puzzles in the game are

How sway? Dualshock 3 and 4 have mad drift issues. Even the dualsense has drift issues.

Damn out of 3 DS3's, 2 DS4's, 2 Dualsenses, and 1 Pro Controller, that's the only one I have ever had it with

So y'all recommend this game as a fun little adventure with solid combat?

I have an opportunity to get a game on stadia and the demo had me consider it.

It's very much breath of the mild But the humors pretty good

finally got tired of the side quests...I’m overpowered to the point that completing them is a waste of time...idc about the trophies...playing thru what I think is the 2nd part of the final fight after the big reveal...the story continues to impress me

game got tedious toward the end...boss fight was a bit of a letdown and felt like a chore since it’s basically a repeat of everything you did leading up to the moment...it reminds me of the pathless in that once you’re done with the game that’s it...you can’t go back to exploring the islands unless you use the last save point before the final fight...there’s a new game+ option when you beat it which I’m not interested in and an option to buy a season pass but I’m burnt out on the game so I don’t want anymore side missions/challenges...good game overall...funny story/dialogue...I just felt there was too much side shyt...granted you don’t have to do it but my OCD doesn’t see it that way lol

I’ll be downloading them but probably won’t have time to jump into it...currently playing hitman 3 and gonna see if I can get cyberpunk to stop crashing...I’m suspecting maybe it’s driving around on motorcycles that’s causing the crash cuz it always happens when I’m speeding on a bike then the game starts glitching and dude does the “T” pose and the game will crash a few moments after that...if not maybe I’ll give concrete genie a shot since that’s a short game

ya concrete genie is a 5-6 hour game...I can probably knock that out before the week is over if it’s any easy game to get into
