Yeah man. I wanted to be one of them guys back in the day. I don't know if I have the mental toughness though. They say that 90% of people are actually physically able to do the training but only 1-10% have the psychology to be a spec ops. I met 3 of them in my life. They were all crazy but cool at the same time. One had like 2 phds, 2 masters and a bachelor's and was a a pastor. HE was the air force PJ. Supposedly the hardest of the spec ops training even above the SEALS training.

Said they were on the boat to Afghanistan 11 hours after 9/11. I'll always have respect for those guys who want to put themselves in the frontlines on some CoD shyt. Even in maritime they bout that action :wow:

BUT, with all that said they are not superhuman or anything, especially not physically. They do go through some amazing training though

I was doing pre training for special forces to get prepared for it then bad luck happened after completing pre training is when I was got diagnosed with sleep apnea and got dq automatically for having that they said 1 week before signing up and I was like :mjcry:

I knew alot of special forces and rangers and some delta forces and green berets.

I saw a csm yell at green beret who was only a e6 man that dude told csm to shut the hell up while ur sleeping easier I'm doing a job that is elite
Dont get it twisted with u outranking me u dont order me around or yell at me and if u got a issue go talk too (didnt hear name) but when he said that csm apologized with the quickness he was shook
This happened in the dining facility with all the trainees

Most of the dudes like that be out after one contract. Quiet Professionals for a reason.
Most of the time we weren't even in uniform or around others like that.

I think the most unnerving shyt that happened to me was attached to guys trying to recruit me for that crazy shyt. Once after training in Arizona after the bigass wildfire - this replacement supervisor comes up to me, flexing his tab heavy, says something along the lines of "you know you'd be good at it" and I knew right off he was saying I didn't have the limits or moral bounds of my peers. It was like being asked to join a gang :mjlol:

The last time I even entertained it was after I finished another unrelated training school. One of the guys in the class was a retired SF dude gone contractor... needless to say everything was boring to him and he was just taking the free money to show up. On the last day after graduation he pulls me aside and says "You are too smart, too direct, and too black to stay in this field and not be certified. We take care of our own" and I wanted to be offended but he was right. You can't be black and in my lane and NOT get tired of justifying your value and position. Said it with a smile knowing I'd turn it down and at the same time burn out and leave altogether. Like he was just obligated to say it to someone at the function.

Those dudes are all different degrees of crazy though. The ones who hide it best are the worst.

hey I get it...but I also knew nikkas that used to pull rank on nikkas that got out of line...didnt usually work out for the lower rank in those cases
Spec Ops guys can do that because they don't follow normal military chain of command. IIRC they are under the SOCOM umbrella which reports directly to the Joint Chief of Staffs. So they can kinda do that and get away with it. I'm not military though so I'm not really confident in what I'm saying, I just remember I used to be highly interested in joining. To the point where I would think about it 24/7. I ended up not joining because I don't take orders well at all. I'm probably the worst at it, actually I also didn't want to be brainwashed into the military machine. Would have ended up wasting my time on some BS, even though I believe I had the ability to finish through the training itself.
