Ehhh, it's training, training, and more training. They're not superhuman, just develop the ability to focus in stressful situations. Again, which is honed through training. While the regular person is working like 3/5 of the year, these guys are training.
With a little conditioning most guys could physically do what operators do, but the confidence obtained from training sets you apart. Most people during training just say "fukk this shyt". It's just not that important to them.
Except SEAL the water requirement is a tough pill for someone like me who has no body fat. My limbs are long and I'm black. The cool of the water during TRAINING would wash me. My body type physically can't sustain. Now after training you have the best equipment available to keep you warm

but you have to earn that.
The major thing I retained and will utilize is intensity when needed.
Also, these guys will have the best equipment and training on that equipment in any situation. It's nearly comical to a operator how severely undertrained and equipped ops are.
I often mentally prepare myself for if the need arise to be in opposition nowadays. Just to be prepared.
