Robin was in two very bad movies 20+ years ago. You can understand die hards wanting him done justice. And that way you can get Nightwing, Jason Todd, the death of Jason Todd, Red Hood etc.But we've seen a version of Robin before in film.
We've seen Bruce when he's learning to be Batman.
We've seen the happy go lucky Superman
Why does every series have to start at the same point?
Why do we need to see one or two Robin's before we get to Carrie?
Why do we have to start with pre-jaded Batman just to get to old and jaded Batman that doesn't give a fukk anymore?
All of this goes back to people wanting to see the same thing they experienced in the past, not giving a fukk about other takes on characters that have a ton of them
Killing Dyck Grayson and skipping to Carrie is just . . . dumb. Are they franchise building or not?
