Billionaires don't last long in comics.
Am i missing something...maybe i'm out of the loop since i ain't collected comics since my early 20's...i thought all comic billionaire's were geniuses?

So basically you are saying that you expect a certain level of realism out of Man of Steel but are fine dismissing the idea that any civilian died during multiple firefights on crowded streets and highways or when an army of aliens attack New York City during a work day?I swear the either coli attention skills are terrible or you're being disingenuous
Winter Soldier:
The plan was to crash the carriers over the shield facility, not the great D.C. area. Any other plan would've meant those ships would've gotten in ranged to start killing civilians. Hydra started all the fire fights in the movie and they werent in area crowd with civilians. The closet to what you're referring to is the bridge scene were all the civilians left the area and they werent anywhere near the line of fire.
Avengers:
Cap especially gave every single member battle plans to account for civilians. Thor kept pressure on the portal, Ironman herded and kept the swarm in the general area and Hulk's fukk shyt up. They actually took the time acknowledge that civilians were in danger and that sentiment carried on to how the Avengers responded to Shield's nuke. Even without all that shyt, there was news report montage of survivors giving witness accounts of how an Avenger save them that day.
Where were Clark's stan giving shouts on tv? Who did Clark go out of his way to save that day Lois?
The moment Clark found out Zod was attack metropolis, this lame flies to the other side of the world. What was his plan? "If it takes both terraformers to terraform the Earth, I'll shut down the one in the ocean first while the army takes out the other one. You guys can handle Zod and that infinitely superior Alien technology rite, brb "
Or how about the fact that Clark, being Zod's primary target the majority of the fight, decided to brawl Zod in a Metropolis instead of taking the fight somewhere else. But this Clark is a noob hero though
My favorite scene of the film is when Zod knocks Clark in to outer space and Clark bodyslams him right back into metropolis. But that isnt Clarks fault, the Earth is too big to aim for another section to land in.
Oh and hold dark live action films to the same standards you hold cartoons to, brehs.
I mean damn people went hard a superman for this, but for some reason monsters and mutants destroying cities is somehow cool but for Kryptonians, not acceptable. In winter soldier airships the city of rhode island crashed down to earth like it was nothing, mad soldiers killed, cities destroyed during car chase. Nobody cares. but when superman has comic levels of destruction on film its bad.
Easily the most ridiculous complaint i've ever seen in my life about a film
And when they did, with return of superman, they shytted all over THAT tooIt was always bullshyt. The critics who shytted on MoS, really just wanted wack-ass 70's Christopher Reeves Superman. If you fukk with the "DCAU/Timmverse", "DC Universe Animated Original Movies", or/and "Young Justice", You'll like "Man of Steel".
Shut the fukk up with this uppity tea drinking bullshyt.
People didn't complain just because Superman leveled Metropolis.
What rubbed people the wrong way was that only a moments after - during a pivotal and emotional climax - Superman is torn apart when Zod threatens the lives of one family as if he didn't just have a hand in the deaths of several thousand people.
Tony Stark was getting hit with a FRACTION of the force that Superman was getting hit with. Are you serious breh? Supes gets hit in the direction of a building by Zod, and he is not physically capable of not taking out that building. Tony and Scrub #1 would literally die from one punch from these dudes lol. Lets not even compare the situation
What do you mean? I don't remember Superman throwing Zod through 6 buildings. Mind showing me where? Or telling me what time in the movie it happens so I can check it for myself?fukk you talking about Iron Man was fighting War machine and 30+ drones armed with missiles and machine guns. fukk has power levels got to do with having common sense . My boy Tony aint even official, he's part-time . He's a self-absorbed genius playboy billionaire philanthropist who actually leads them away from the civilians into an abandoned and confined area, whilst Superman throws Zod through 6 buildings and decides to brawl in the middle of a town .

And it matters because missiles/machine guns aren't going to level a fukking goddamn building the same way it would if Zod threw Superman through it. Don''t be a fukking idiot. Iron Man and any of his bad guys would be annihilated before Superman even got knocked into a building. Stop being stupid nikka
The power levels are irrelevant
Iron Man fights drones and a War Machine Unit.
Superman fights Zod.
Both start in crowded areas, both villains/obstacles in relation to the related hero can cause mass causalities.
One uses his common sense and leads them away from Civilians and the area(actually giving a fukk about the people).
The other decides to keep the fight at the location and engage in an all-out brawl.
Only one who's being "stupid" here is you .
(0:00 - 0:30)
"You think you can touch my mother!" *subsequently leaves mother behind with three dangerous goons*
oh so he's LEADING zod huh? This dude is trying to DESTROY THE EARTH i'm sorry but there are more important things at stake than Tom's Drug storeGotta love how he leads Zod away from his mother by throwing him straight into the center of Smallville instead of you know, all the miles upon miles of farming fields where collateral damage would be kept minimum.
