How so? Is it more enjoyable since you're in a movie theater, gettin the "whole experience"?

I couldnt imagine watching it in the theater alone is any better than watching it in the comfort of my home.. I cant smoke in the movie theater either ​

yeah..i love the "theater" experience. and home theater is great too but i like the "real thing" just as much. some times when i'm stressing out about something i'll go see a movie and it's so cathartic to just sit there completely engulfed in a flick for two hours in a dark theater. you can't do that at home with all the distractions etc...

The child actors suck and the surprise at the end creates a huge plot hole that kind of ruins the premise of the whole film.

Up until that point, the movie was entertaining and touches on a lot of themes (relying on God versus pragmatically pulling up oneself, for instance) intelligently, but this certainly isn't close to being one of Spike Lee's better movies.

i remember Thik3rd saying awhile back if he went solo to the movies he took a notepad and pen so people would think he was a movie critc. doing to much the older i've gotten the less i give a sh*t what people wanna think tbh.

Ain't nothing wrong with going to the movies alone. Everybody so self concious that they're worrying about what total strangers think of them when nobody is even paying attention to that. Most people just care about getting a decent seat.

shyt, I've been going to movies solo for years, I actually prefer it to going with people now. @ grown ass men who are afraid to do things by themselves.

I've traveled to Miami and the Bahamas by myself.
I've gone to clubs and bars by myself
I've gone to restaurants by myself.

Matter fact, last time I went out dolo, I met this thick ass broad with some serious DSL's. If as a man you're afraid to do shyt on your own, that says a lot about you.

Go by myself always, almost, don't even really want to to with anyone else, esp. any of my friends, a date or something, if I'm into them like that, I love going to the movies though. Just relax for two hours, away from the bullshyt, damn near therapeutic for me. Seeing 'Killer Joe' tomorrow night....alone.

Seeing a play by yourself is a little more awkward, but, still manageable.
