Thinking about buying my first gun in a few weeks; found a Maverick 88 shotgun (it's made by Mossberg; basically the same as a Mossberg 500 with a different safety) for $175

Also trying to decide which handgun I want , and I narrowed it down to:

-a EAA Tanfoglio Witness (a CZ-75 clone)
-a S&W M&P Shield, or
-a Glock 19

Any advice? I live in MO

Mossberg is cool but I'm a Remington man myself.

So my wife randomly brought home a rrmington 870 i been talking about getting one after you posted...(i love that woman) said she got it for 389 with 100 rebate...she extreme coupons...i LOVE the feel of it more so than the mossy...way more solid feel...i already called the sitter. We going to the range today and ima give a review...i think ima remove the stock sometime in the future tho and add a flashlight.
