I need to get back on the discord but there's tons of what's app groups, telegram groups, Facebook groups and forums related to travel.

Right now on the BlackMan Travels facebook group the "dategate" vs. P4P debate is raging all because a goofy went to Cartagena and started flexing.
Always thought it was weird to be so worried about what another brother is doing on vacation smh. I think its jokes

I've been hit up about dudes just deciding to hop a plane and dip.

I strongly advise against that. That being said If you were gonna do that, I would suggest that you bring at least 75 to 100K if you had to dip forever. As I said as your learn the country your expenses will go down.

I've had some incels hit me up and I know at least one incel dude here in Cali.

I would strongly advise to not come looking for bytches That being said all women sense thirst so a decently long trip or a series of smaller trips will put "matrix women" in perspective.

If you do decide to travel or expat I can say that if you can get 1200 bucks in passive income a month you'd be fine in Cali just like 1400 is a decent ballpark figure in Santo Domingo.

Keep in mind that's not covering going to the clubs every night an buying bottles on henny, and it doesn't cover tricking but it cover some cool dates and a tinder gold account.

Also Learn the language !!! I know dudes who go fluent in conversational spanish in 16 months. You don't have to take a language class, you can study 20 minutes every day with a youtube class ( I use Spanish with Paul)

I prefer gritty spanish over duolingo but I recommend 3 lessons a day

Listen to local music to get the pronunciation and listen to toddler level cartoons like Peppa Pig, Little kids shows speak slowly and they repeat themselves even if you're not paying attention you will pick up the words in no time.

Apartment search resources.

I suggested finding out how much an apartment is in the place you want to go, In Kenya you can check out Buy/rent Kenya on twitter and facebook.

In the DR you can check out Corotos.com (they sell a lot of shyt not just apartments)

In Colombia a good site is Properati.com

You can also use these sites to check the general prices of apartments. A good rule of thumb is to try to get places for no more than double the price of rent for a similar apartment for a month, you might have to sweeten the deal by offering a multimonth stay.

General Airline Tip. If you're flying an extreme budget airline I suggest buying a ticket at the counter if at all possible. Of course they will honor any online deal but they may discount it further and the super cheap airlines charge for everything including printing out your ticket at the airport.

Also remember to calculate all fees, sometimes the cheapest airlines become more expensive once you add luggage and extra fees for everything. Some janky ass airlines is charging for water and soda now.

If you're goofy enough to get on a plane and dip. I would say bargain basement never leaving and no passive income you'd need at least 64k.

There was one repat to Gambia who literally sold all her shyt on Facebook Marketplace got every credit card she could took the money off of them put that in her bank account and used the rest to ship her shyt to Banjul and bought a first class ticket.

Needless to say I DO NOT support moving that way but I probably would've done the same if I was on the run from the law.

If I can't retire a bare minimum of 60, I'm definitely leaving the country. I ain't working no 9 to 5 past 60. Dual citizenship is a thing. I'm thinking South America somewhere.

Exactly The reason I dipped is because I would've had to retrain for a whole new career at 40 plus. I just preferred to not be an economic unit and fund broke nikkas lifestyle through welfare (ironically I'm now getting entitlements) I got a friend who works for the Navy in the middle of nowhere 62 years old and pissed that he doesn't get any time off. Homie is retired Navy and he gets 7 stacks yet that dude wants to keep working although he has a place in the phillipines.

That's what I hate about america the Go Go Go get it Mentality where nothing is ever enough. I'm in "hot" ass Cali and I'll tell you the humidity is far less than the "temporate" east coast and I'm not even talking about the heat wave.

Don't wait Breh dip out as soon as possible while you're healthy enough to enjoy your retirement even to play shuffleboard requires you to be able to stand on your own.

I swear to go this is sort of how it was in Boca Chica in the DR for me.

Yeah i wanna eave this bullshyt country too...:hhh: getting tired of this place. Wanted to relocate to the islands somewhere like st.thomas

You totally can and you'd still be technically in the states best of both worlds. Fly ass chicks down there too and no tricking culture.

I saw on youtube cacs renting sailboats out there taking a few lessons and crashing them shyts.

Looks fun as hell

Nope, that's the only thing I low key miss. In Africa there's a lot of volunteer shyt to do and that's how white folks finagle a job or a place to stay. You should see the literally Mansions they put these Help the youngin's volunteers in trust me they are living good. That's where at lot of the donations go to.

I think you can randomly join the Peace corps if you have a degree and there's tons of do gooder Help the Youngin's orgs in the states. But I suggest that you go to the country of your choice look for an SUV (they all have late model SUV's) with a Help the Youngin's sticker and ask where you can sign up.

Compare your living conditions from your initial arrival to your current situation.

Can someone consistently roll solo without getting targeted or jammed (presuming the person sticks out from the locals)?

I just wanted to update this. I haven't been in Colombia that long but already my costs have dropped dramatically (mainly because the US dollar appreciated against the Colombian peso but also I see the difference in being in a high tourist demand city and one that's not.

In Santo Domingo although I saw decent apartments in the Facebook groups and Corortos.com I didn't want to commit to a year long lease (even though I ended up spending a year there anyway) The Airbnb's did not want to take a significant discount and they demanded a premium for December. There was just too much demand they knew they could get rid of me and some chump would gladly pay for a week what I paid for a month.

It's totally different in Colombia they are happy to take a significant discount. It is a little more challenging to find a decent Airbnb though because there's not as many because there's less tourism though.

That being said there were more expats in Santo Domingo and the people were more friendly.
