because you cant get the right VPN with an iphone unless its jailbrokenWym, don't take an iPhone to the Gulf?
Fucc. Cacs everywhere. I can't take it if that shot is like what I Heard about S. Africa where the indigenous folks have been disenfranchisedIn Most African cities there's "white side of town" Like in the states. You could call the Westlands area of Nairobi "Whitelands" Obviously there's only a tiny minority in regards to Africans there but that's where they live.
Black People should go to Africa just to see how white people have set up shop there. You go to some areas in Nairobi and you'll forget you're in Africa. One of the nicest Crossfit Gyms I've seen is in Nairobi next to this mall and Gated Community. Again mostly Rich Black people but a lot of white people live there too.
No one outside the west sees race in the same way we do. For all intents and purposes you're seen as a "white" person too.Who do the Dominicans respect more? African Americans or the Europeans @Wiseborn
I'll drop some pro tips because this is not a "move to the DR brehs" thread it's more of a get in where you fit in thread.
When deciding where to live obviously you want to do your research knowing what is the cost of living and if the country will be a good fit for you.
The first place I'd start is the expat groups in that country and even that city. there might even be an ADOS expat group there's a Black expats of Colombia facebook group. Start with Facebook, then Twitter, follow the newspaper of record in the country twitter then local reporters. Usually a country will have their official "haters" meaning local people who live there and complain about their country. There tweets are gold they will give you a feel about how life is on a day to day basis.
Follow business news related twitter accounts too. You follow decent local news then compare that to the news about the country that the international press reports and you'll see huge differences. shyt will open you minds to biases in the media. Not just left right biases but shyt slated to fit a narrative like US media reports about the Chinese "taking over" Africa.
There's ajendas to all media.
Listin Diario The main newspaper. What are some good business news and twitter accounts to follow for the DR?
