people love to act like rap began in 1994.

I hate rap sometimes man.

hip-hop has the WOAT fans.

I'm not even gonna say shes the first but she was light-years ahead of nas:

Don't Believe the Hype
Those producers werent super big at the time tho. Pete Rock was just starting to make noise in 1991. Easy Moe Bee was nobody in 1989.
My post was in response to the OP Thread Title about whether or not Nas' Illmatic was the first hip-hop album with multiple producers - I added an album over four years earlier that proved otherwise (not necessarily the first hip-hop album with multiple producers, tho).

I wasn't aware the goal posts had been moved.

Its confusing because OP doesnt specify wether its multiple producers or popular producers. Like for instance

LLs 3rd LPs producer credits:

Walking with a Panther

Released June 9, 1989

Producer
LL Cool J
Dwayne Simon
Rick Rubin
DJ Cut Creator
The Bomb Squad
Marly Marl

You had the top producers on deck for this LP and it was multiple producers. OP needs to specify.

This, nikkas rather argue bullshyt instead of facing the facts

a lot of people on these message boards in general have some weird obsession with trying to credit Nas for stating stuff that he had no hand in.

hip-hop would be in a much better place if more people cared to actually research such things.

I see that you don't know the difference between an opinion and a fact.

and I never said anything bad about illmatic. I think its a top 5-10 rap album, actually. you just came to the conclusion that I'm anti-illmatic because youre a groupie.

this is the dikk-eating chit that I'm talking about. PLEASE delete youre account. people like you turned these forums into a circus.

Did you just pull this "fact" out of your ass OP? :mjlol:No one has said this about Illmatic because it would be blatantly incorrect.

who was the youngest rapper in the 80s to mid 90s to work with legendary producers?

Tragedy Khadafi aka Intelligent Hoodlum was apart of The Juice Crew at like 13 :wow: and worked with Marley Marl for years

kinda more impressive than Nas
