Makes sense, they must have found out about this when the medicals came in.. He still gets a contract and gets paid to rehab, Knicks get an extra year tacked on at a discount. Good deal on both sides

Paul in OKC is awful for both sides lol.
Paul has to stay with a bad team, OKC has to deal with a unhappy pain in the ass and Paul while not that good anymore is good enough to ruin OKC’s draft position

Nah, worst case scenario... Paul's deal is done a year before Russ; for that aspect alone it's a win for OKC. I still think they'll figure a way to get Paul to Miami though.
