Where do you guys rank the Pacers in the east?
Was reading an article able how they’re stuck in purgatory and it’s the NBAs fault.
I think with a healthy Dipo they are the 3rd or 4th best team in the east. With an outside shot to make the finals
Both Indiana and Utah tooled up nice for two cities/markets no Marquee Free Agent will ever sign, and have two of the better head coaches in the NBA.
In regard to Indiana, it’ll obviously be heavily predicated on how Dipo plays when he comes back from that gruesome injury. He has the work ethic no doubt but wasn’t it a broken leg or some shyt? They lost Bogs who lead them in scoring to Utah so hopefully Brogdon can replace some of that production. Sabonis and Turners are A little redundant and Myles damn near averaged 3 blocks but I don’t see him as a defensive anchor.
Nate McMilly should have got more shine for Coach of the year and I think this team can remain be a top 4 seed as they 5th last year, they played well after he got injured, but as a go to guy , I sorta became a believer in Dipo when he went toe to toe with LeBron in that series.
Don’t seeing them beating better than the Bucks or Sixers in the payoffs, but any other team out East is winnable for em.
