He did... it's a sign and trade with the Nets

Durant for Russell
He didn't.

Durant signed with Brooklyn outright.

Russell was signed and traded in a separate deal.

Reports: D'Angelo Russell to Warriors in 3-team deal with Timberwolves | NBA.com

Per ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the Warriors and Brooklyn Nets have outlined a sign-and-trade deal that will deliver Russell to Golden State on a four-year, $117 million deal. The sign-and-trade deal will include Golden State sending a protected future first-rounder to Brooklyn and re-routing Shabazz Napier, Treveon Graham and cash to the Timberwolves.

U done lost your mind

Take out Klay and tell me who on that list, in the 2019 version of themselves, can create any kind of offense for themselves or others?
:snoop:

so u basically only care about who is the best scorer
name me one TOR player besides Kawhi : that can create his own shot

i’ll wait

Anyone that watched this season would. Calling this boogie an all star lets me know where youre at:hubie:

:what:

49ers..Braves..Celtics
Not in any way that matters.

Morris actually tries hard on defense and shows out in the playoffs. Love can't defend anyone and crumbles in the playoffs. Plus Love always seems like kind of a locker room downer.

At this point I honestly don't see any contender wanting Love on their roster at all.

Don't talk to me about Marcus Morris. I saw every game.. Morris is a black hole on offense and he's not great defensively either.

the ether
Looking at who I think is available, if i'm the Lakers and don't get Kawhi, absolute best case scenario:

Spread the $32 million and MLE among Marcus Morris, Willie Cauley-Stein, Delon Wright, and Iggy.

Get Rondo, Jeff Green, and Markieff Morris to come on for vet minimums. Retain Caruso.

PG: Rondo/Wright/Caruso
SG: Troy Daniels/Norvell/Horton-Tucker
SF: LeBron/Iggy/Jeff Green
PF: Marcus Morris/Kuzma/Markieff Morris
C: AD/WCS

At PG you're praying that playoff Rondo has another postseason in him and that's pretty much your only hope.
At SG none of those guys are anywhere close to NBA starter level. They might. have. to. sign. KCP. again.
At SF the average age is 35.
At PF that would be a great group of bench contributors.
At Center you sure as hell hope AD stays healthy.

Lineup looks thin as hell. And that's a best-case scenario.
