1. GUESS JEANS with the pencil-pockets.
2. the over-use of rockin headbands & armbands with anything that matched. and boy do i mean anything.
3. the los angeles clippers. the most popular basketball squad that never made the playoffs. they were like the nba streetball team. i wonder what the sales figures for those darius miles & lamar odom jerseys were hittin for.
4. AND1 mixtapes and streetball culture becoming prominent in the mainstream.
5. state property going head-up with major figgas & dblock at the same dam time.
6. mad people, including myself thinking that joe budden was rasheed wallace's rap persona.
7. the first 8-12 months of 106th & park, before that chit turned into kiddie city. matter fact, that whole 1st 8-12 month period when BET 1st got that viacom money, before they started force-feeding bullchit & pushing agendas.
8. the mixtape DJs. you were the man when you were the 1st one in school or around the way with the newest tape. ESPECIALLY A DJ CLUE TAPE.
9. the super-producers.
10. when there were a healthy amount of albums droppin EVERY WEEK.
11. NBA ON NBC. and the "tuesday/wednesday/thursday" campaign for TNT/TBS.
12. some of yall like to front on this but........UPN & THE WB.
