i know right. was dude even old enough to remember what it was like back in early 2000? ain't he like 18 years old?
and no the early 2000s was HORRIBLE. everything turned to shyt. one thing i remember about that era was how the radio went from playing everybody to only playing 10 songs a day. back in 1999, they actually played mos def and heavy d on the hot 97 playlist. they played everybody. by the fall of 2000, hot 97 became def jam radio basically playing the same 5 def jam artists. it was fukked up. they played ludacris sexual fantasy like 10 times an hour. then in october, they played jay's give it to me 10 times every fukking hour. it was terrible.
not to mention there were some stupid ass trends back then too. you had folks killing the extra large white tees to the point where they look like skirts. you had folks trying to use shower caps as head gear.
LMAO @ dude mentioning stop snitching being an early 2000 thing. breh, that was huge in the mid 2000, breh. in early 2000, everybody was busy trying to get flossy and be pretty boy thugs. this is why you shouldn't speak of things you don't know.

I didn't do the whole fake thug thing, I was one of those skater outcast dudes... But lemme tell you, bytches that were into that shyt loved me! I was on my N.E.R.D shyt back then..and the whole dipset era put it over the top. Dated a chick who looked like kelis, she was a weed head tho.
