I loved all of the games and I'm definitely hyped for RE6.

I think the major difference between RE4 and RE5 is like someone mentioned, RE5 had too much daylight. It took away some of the creepy shiit we've come to expect. I'm all for action. It's not like RE5 had unlimited ammo. I still had to conserve and explore for more ammo. I found myself dying plenty of times.

Breh, you could buy ammo from the imaginary Resident Evil K-Mart after every level on RE5.. shyt was whack and unrealistic

A nikka with guns... at least they ain't magically fall out of a zombie when you bicycle kick em..

Now what part of the OG RE game did you find a rocket launcher laying around?? I'll wait

In RE5 you could play the same mission over and over and just farm rockets killing every boss including Wesker with one hit. That sounds fun right? :heh:

I do admit to thoroughly enjoying the mercenary modes on RE5 but that trash ass story mode was the wackest shyt I've ever played in the series, solo and Co-op.... Definitely won't be wasting my time on 6...

This shyt ain't resident evil brah, its some other shyt with the RE logo..

and thats why many folks hate the modern games bro

who cares if it ain't the RE u grew up on?

as long as they're still dope I'm cool. I'm personally glad they aren't focusing on cheap scares anymore

Nah... if I never played any of the og RE titles, that story mode would still be garbage to me..
the series in the past was never about cheap scares, it was about surviving.. figuring a way out of your fukked up situation.. it was open world, not linear and over the top.. This new shyt is corny breh....

I actually agree with the OP on this. You can only do the whole haunting, eerie shyt for so long before you have to adapt as a game. Look at Silent Hill they're all about that haunting shyt and now they're in the bushes. With RE they choose to go the action route and I thought they did well with it in the 5th game. Let's not act like the 4th game had no action in it either. Both games were similar as fukk and both ended like quintessential action games.

lol at nikkas talking about the controls of this game when you were basically playing early armored core with the first few REs. people are never satisfied. also, any grown ass man getting scared over RE is a p*ssy point blank. SH2/3 shyt all over any other game as far as horror anyway. RE was always the more action oriented variant of the genre, even since its inception.
