Still, i understand what you mean. Having a front row seat in Asian culture i can say that their motivations for family are not the cinderella story that american women are programmed into. With them its more about securing the best future possible for their family and often times that comes before falling madly in love with their significant other. You can only be a pawn if you allow yourself to be moved. Sadly i think individuals of African descent are less likely to help out their family members financially than Asians. Asians will give large sums of money to family members and be patient with repayment. Often times this is difficult in our community. I admire their willingness to help their people when they need it.

That is a problem in the white community as well friend. If you aren't making your own dough, you need to get the fukk out and go make some, is the word. As both of our races have been here for a long time, maybe we have difficult standards to obtain to. I respect their family first culture though their thirst for knowledge and schooling is hard to beat.
