Yall are in some deep denial. Jasmine Sullivan, K Michelle, Janet Jackson and some of the others mentioned are not dark skin. You been looking at biracial/ latinas and white women too much.

Lauryn Hill was the last dark skinn black woman to have broad mainstream, cross over appeal. Sony quickly replaced her with a ligher, less political Alicia Keys and whites were way more comfortable with her. That shyt was on purpose.
