As a person who kinda largely dislikes Tyler as a brand but acknowledges and respects his drive, this is nothing but a good thing.

Yeah, imo his movies and shows are pureed trash but that trash got him kicking on the doorjamb of the billionaire boys club, so props to that I guess.

I'd go from a disliker of Tyler to his biggest champion, in a day, if he uses his influence to pull quality black creatives into his Tyler Perry ecosystem.

So I figured maybe he can only do Why Did I Get Married right, so I check the sequel.

His last chance was Colored Girls.

I thought House of Payne season 1-4 was funny. Once the show became about Denise and Calvin marriage it fell off a cliff but season 1-4 was funny.
