Only prob i had with Tyler perry is putting out those subpar Payne/Brown shows on tbs and some black ppl actin like they were the greatest shows ever just bc they were Tyler Perry shows.
I think the Madea character is really funny.
But i want him to use his studio to showcase the wealth of black creativity, and push boundaries of what's been in Hollywood. I said all before a black superhero would be great....then black panther smashed and proved the point.
Jordan Peele doing different stuff proves my point. We can do more than what we've been allowed to do and hopefully he allows that to happen.

Breh I hate this shyt. It's one of the reasons I had to step away from the conscious community. I’m hoping with this new studio he will do this. I can understand wanting complete control over your own work when you’re funding it yourself. Hopefully, he will let people showcase their talents now.No doubt about that. But he does write, direct and or produce all of his projects.

Congrats to the Bruh and hopefully he can get more of us involved in front and behind the camera. I'm just glad my wife no longer drags me to his movies.
