Yes I've spoken to Mr. Perry a couple of times here in Atlanta. If he cared what people thought, he wouldn't be where he is at today.What celeb does care what goofy coli nikkas say? Exactly! That studio is an investment so being petty is bad for business.
He had to churn those movies out to get his paper up and get the major studio he had now. He will make more diverse films as long as yall support them
Im not shytting on him tho i actually like those movies more than i thought i did and i thought boondocks pulled his whole card with that episode they roasted him. But he puts out decent flicks i just dont wanna be inundated with them cuz tyler perry is a business man and those flicks are good for business but do we really need another hyper christian generational black female drama sex saga? If this studio is really for the culture and not just a pet project then well see the diversity until then ill remain skeptical but optimistic. Spike lost btw

Exactly. I I personally dont like his movies either. And ive never even bothered to watch any of the Madeah bullshyts. But i respect the man for being successful. He'll give many black actors and producers opportunities that they wouldnt get elsewhere.
