read all of the thread. my conclusion, both sides made good points and explained their perspective. there probably isn't a "right" answer. One thing i will say though, most people are simps (males and females). i see a whole lot of talking on both sides but when y'all fall for that one person and actually start seeking and needing from them, most will throw these ideals and principles out the window (and that goes for both sides of the argument).

Ok. The biological argument is a slippery slope IMO but it's not worth arguing about.

Ugh. I always wanna agree with you until you say something ridiculous. How do you think households headed by single mothers get that stuff done? Does the yard care about gender roles? The grass is gonna grow whether or not there's a man around to cut the lawn.

Like I said before, we don't have to follow gender roles.

We don't have to I agree...but we end up following anyway. Most women like to pick and choose tradition when it suits them was my point.

I said wont get rich, didn't say you don't get paid well. :beli:

Kitchen is -------------> way :beli:
*sigh* I don't see how you don't think the two (getting paid well and getting rich) aren't mutually exclusive. The bank is this <------------------ way, I'll go there instead.

Living under the same roof
Operating in full WIFE duties and functions(girlfriends and wives aint the same)
Showing full submission
A checklist of personal requirements and grading her

You lose. After you've been together decide to marry, this needs to kick in immediately. Men lose the hardest in court due to feminism so ya girl will be forced to pay a fee for "freedoms". Engagement periods should be her proving ground, she shouldn't feel like she made it.

If she says no then she is showing early signs of being combative, thats a strike.

If she says her family and friends don't approve then that's a strike too. You're more important than her daddy, momma, sister, brother, cousin, play aunts and homegirls. If they opinions are so important she should be fukking them instead.

Any signs of unwillingness on her part to put a down payment on a union that can ruin a mans life at the drop of a woman's dime can't be trusted.

Thank you based OG's for knowledge and the ones who went through that so I wouldn't have to. :wow:

Almost fell victim to a big butt and a smile. Thank God I was raised right :wow:

Paid well and Rich are two different levels, Wealthy is a level above both.

Let the men do the thinking, just cook and be silent.

Making good financial decisions with the money you're paid leads you to be rich or wealthy. Why such the limited view on what you can do with your money? If that's men "thinking" that's pretty fukking sad.

People who get paid well can become rich, a smart rich person can potentially become wealthy. People who get paid well work for somebody, rich people can work for others but usually work for themselves while the wealthy don't work at all outside of managing their own money.

No , I don't like standing in lines.

LOL So what you're paid well to do now you couldn't potentially, at some point, go into business for yourself? Like do you HAVE to work for someone else all your life in order to be in the occupation you're in. I'm going with NO and I don't care what you say. You're far from dumb, so sucka, you do have the POTENTIAL to be rich and/or wealthy doing what you're doing now. Let's not be short-sighted. I refuse to let you think that way.

Just answer this. If youre splitting bills with your future husband, and he doesnt want to cook, are your children going to eat Hot Pockets for dinner on a regular basis or are you just going to make enough food for you and your children and tell your husband to eat cereal?

I know this was directed at someone else, but what would be his reason for not cooking?

Hes not a good cook, and will feed the kids hot pockets and spaghettios or he just doesnt feel like it and wants her to. What, is it time to file for divorce at that point.

I'd cook. At least one parent has to care enough about the kids to not let them get scurvy.. But I'd resent him unless he was mowing the lawn AND washing the car AND doing other shyt that I don't want to do. Qhats the "male" equivalent to cooking though? What can yall do to be useful?
