I'm back in Brazil now but I gotta come back to America soon. I'll be back sometime next year and might start up an English school. I've met a lot of Americans here and they never want to go back. U gotta have a hustler spirit and not want a normal lifestyle to do what we do tho. Expat living isn't for most people. Americans think they are the only ones who don't want to move abroad, but most Brazilians I know have no desire to leave Brazil either lol. Most people will die in the same place they were born. I've realized I was born in the wrong country, but I am grateful for the opportunities America has given me.

I lived in Germany for damn near 5 years, and I'd go back in a second. I can see myself living a damn good life in Munich. Other than Germany, I'd probably want to try out some Caribbean country, Montreal or Toronto, the UK, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Kenya, or Jordan.

Cool, I was just hoping ppl werent on some " i had the time of my life there for 1 week and fukked mad bytches, so im going to go live there" type of stuff. lol
lol nah. The only places in that list i spent less than a week were Paris and Winnipeg.
  • Paris, i was in London for work and decided to spend 4 days in Paris with my girl so we took the train there.
  • Was supposed to be in Winniped for almost 2 weeks but we got done early. Typically i would just stay the rest of the days and enjoy the place on the company's dime but that shyt was so cold (-26 deg on a good day) I rebooked and took the first flight home

why would you want to move anywhere where you dont speak the native language? those saying countries in Asia ive been to two for a few weeks at a time in each and after a few weeks you realize their whole culture is just too different and you get home sick. you will always be an outsider there and never feel more than a tourist inside

ive heard countless celebs and figures who have been all over the world not just a few countries and they all say no place is like the USA
Makes sense.

but I speak the languages of all the places I've listed. My spanish is rusty but still effective enough to get by. But I hear you on the asian counties tho.

As far as no place like the U.S.A. goes thats true because no two countries are alike. Based on what you personally like and have an appreciation for there are countries you will not like.

It's like the same way most people from New York leave New York and go to other places and YET expect everything to be like it is in New York.:mindblown: NO. It's not called New York because it's not New York. Adapt, you sick fukks!
I remember there was an episode of some Real World something show where they took a bunch of Americans and took the to the Virgin Islands. All they did while there was complain about how things are different. If you can't stand things to be different then STAY IN YOUR ROOM. I swear that day i wanted one of them dreads to scalp them yankees for talking all that shyt

This is how I feel.

Also when I went to Brazil, I didn't want to leave. Their culture is superior to ours. It's hard to explain (and don't fukking start pasting your lame ass articles) you just have to go there and feel it for yourself. It feels like the future, the way it's all merged into one to form one big blended culture.

I live in China (2 years now), but I already know I will end up in Brazil or Colombia in the next 2-3 yrs. South America is my favorite region in the world, and I feel at home there.

I've lived in Canada, hated it, I love my city it's one of, if not the best city in the U.S (LA) but the normal life just isn't for me, it so boring. I love visiting every year, but after a couple weeks it gets old FAST, I mean real boring. China is hands down more fun. Like most expats will tell you, it's a trait you just have to have. Just like the explorers of yesterday left their beautiful cities in Spain and England to go venture out into some far away unknown land. Some people just have it in their DNA to where they feel more comfortable being an alien, an explorer, a vagrant.

You're one of the few that have the 'gene'. I started traveling at 7 with my mom (africa and europe) and was stuck. I became obsessed. I even thought about being a commerical pilot when I was a kid (that was my answer when they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up) just so I could travel. Every time I would travel some where, all I could do is think of my time abroad and where I was going next. I would spend hours researching countries. I was willing to do anything, work at the airport, travel agent, anything to be able to explore and discover more of the planet. I got lucky and landed a traveling job like you, and then I started making my connects from there.

Read my other posts and notice i said Job security is the only thing keeping me here.

All these places I am talking about are mostly places i went for work purposes so i wasn't being a typical tourist. Granted yeah some of these places I don't know as well as I do here and would need more time there to see what life there i really like. But the times i was there i tried to explore as much as possible and being there for work working long hours half the time i know how the typical day goes.
Costa Rica is whole different ball game because i actually stayed there a long long time (had an apartment and a car and everything). Many other places I've been and wouldn't wanna live.
  • Poland - Nice place but Too far. Not enough black people
  • France - Love it. Almost too many black people. I'm already fluent in french so I Would live there
  • Winnipeg Canada - Too fukking cold
  • Misnk, Belarus - Would NOT wanna live there. No black people.
  • London, UK - Love the place but co$t of living is EXTREMELY high. Would love to live there IF and ONLY IF i could afford it
  • Costa Rica - Would move there in a heartbeat if the right job came along
  • Bahamas - I'll admit i was pretty much in the tourist zone when I was there for work. It's cool.
  • Haiti - Again home is home. If the right opportunity came along I'm there.
  • Sweden - Beautful place but but too fukking cold. + Cost of living is disgusting

A few years ago I was cool with this Polish chick that immigrated to the US at age 16 or 17 and spent a few years in some Polish neighborhood in Chicago. She moved down South and ended up marrying a brotha and having a kid by him. She used to tell me that if she went back to Poland with her son he'd be treated worse than shyt over there, even by members of her own family.

Having been all over the world nothing tops US. Sorry. Although Spain - Madrid and Barcelona come close. If those two cities could somehow meld it would be the GOAT city. Just the food in Madrid is :wow: South of France is also beautiful but I don't think I could stand to live with so many depressed Frenchmen.

Brazil is definitely the future despite a few minor setbacks in their economy the last couple years. They are still trying to figure things out. But foreigners with skills, speak English/Portuguese and understand the culture, can live great down here. My cousin just moved down here with his family and works for a law firm, living good. Now is the time to get here before the secret is really out. Im in Sao Paulo right now but there are other 2nd and 3rd tier cities that are worth exploring. Im really trying to build a foundation and network here so by the time the Olympics arrive, I will be feasting :ohlawd: My brothas gotta start traveling more. Most Americans here are still whites :beli:

:wow: you're doing exactly what I wanted to do, move to S.P before the Olympics and hopefully get into a marketing firm, designing the english adverts. the WC/Olympic money is going to be :ohlawd:. My homegirl works for a clothing line and told me it was going to be real hard because the brazilian govt is trying to give brazilians jobs exclusively AND they're going to make the visa more strict because american are staying. Is that true?:ohhh:

That is true, my cousin and I were just talking about how they are getting more strict with business visas. I´m gonna return on a student visa next year probably and milk that as long as possible. But the thing is the Brazilian workforce is still lackluster. They are importing a lot of engineers and doctors cause of the lack of Brazilians with those skills. This is Brazil tho:mjpls: U can always find loopholes man. The biggest step is to just get here and meet people.

:stopitslime:

The planet may as well get hit by an asteroid if the US is the best place in the world.

You're talking to a group of black people and telling us we will never be accepted in other countries, as though we are truly accepted here :russ: Your friends quality of life is probably less stressful than yours, he's probably enjoying himself more than you while you slave away at work :manny:
