Wrong. You keep citing your experiences and people you know when there is a counter example for every example that you give. Some people pick up languages and like to travel the world. Go to a USA appreciation thread if that's what you want to discuss.

im not gonna be the threads debbie downer here but its titled "if you could get out of america".....my couple posts is just the other side of the argument of WHY would you

yeah let me hear your japanese after being around it a year it would still sound like shyt. my friend is like what you said....feels like he is special and doing something because he is visiting markets and around people that arnt the same as him. truth is there are simply better places in the world and the best happens to be where we are right now.


other countries offer little if not none of the culture and life you have grown up in and are used to. you will never be one of them all you are is a visitor in any other country

im 100% all for visting other places i have places like Brazil and London and South Africa on my list but to live....fukk that

being black in the USA is a great thing now. the only blacks bytching about it are the unsuccessful ones

theres more whites in worse situations than blacks here . blacks are only 12-15% of the population but have made their mark and even with that said you still have the benefits handed to you. if you work hard and do good you will be accepted and prosper go talk to some uncle toms they living life

im not trolling i respect your postings thats really what i think for the most part call it how you want. blacks have had it terrible here in the past but in our generation and lifetime excuses dont exist unless your ghetto scum

If you were born here, raised here and havent really traveled much then yeah it's perfectly normal for you to feel that way. But i find that the more i travel the less i like it here. The only thing holding me back is job security, really.

Heres my grip with people who say " Haven't traveled", The places you go to 9 times out of 10 it's for a vacation or visit family, so of course you're only going to see the things you want to see, but have you actually lived in those places? tried to find a job in those places? I can see if somebody said I lived there for 5-10yrs and want to go back.

I can see if somebody said I lived there for 5-10yrs and want to go back.

ive had the same thoughts ive been to a half a dozen places id LOVE to live in because the aura is strong when you get there and its something new but when you get back and realize what it would take to actually move there and what you would be really leaving behind it hits you...at least the smart ones. unless you have family in that country all it is a vacation

I lived in Brazil for almost 6 months, had a job lined up and could have stayed but the force of family pulled me back. Coming back was probably the biggest mistake I've ever made

id go back if i were you. i know your postings and it seems you love that place and it would make you happy. live there and fly back here a couple times a year if you can to see the fam.

- Canada (close but different enough from America to leave some of the problems behind and I love it)

- Singapore (a little strict on the rules but a whole bunch of awesomeness smashed into a small place)

- Japan (I speak enough Japanese to get by and I wouldn't be shell-shocked like some are who travel there)

- Madagascar (time to go back to my roots, it always calls out to me)

- Brazil (another country that speaks to my soul)

Toss up between Japan or Brazil. I've grown to dislike the US quite a bit from the activities in this year alone. Decided I'm going to be living somewhere else before I hit 30.
