The black church was our only institutionalized place of power so naturally it was the voice of black people. Doesn't validate or invalidate Christianity. Sure the black church has done some good things, but it doesn't change the impure origin of our beliefs.

This is true, but it was kind of for a specific reason. By using religious justification for demanding civil rights, they were able to garner sympathy from religious cacs, which helped the movement gain support. Plus, churches were one of the few places blacks could congregate without white people feeling threatened and shutting it down.
Even so,
at worshipping white Jeebus in 2012. But I agree that calling black Christians c00ns is silly and nobody would have the nerve to say that in real life. It's more accurate to say that Christians and most other religious types (regardless of race) suffer from massive amounts of cognitive dissonance, ie. "I know people can't live for hundreds of years but I still believe Noah lived to be 950 because the bible says so
