Nobody rally wanted to free us. There was plenty of things on their list above freeing the slaves. But in order to win the war they HAD to free us, cause the enemy was using us to their advantage.

With that said, I'll just have to disagree with you bruh. I know I can't change your faith. But you would do well to do some research on Christianity and religion as a whole, outside of what you've learned in church and you will begin to see the big picture.

I have seen the big picture. Christianity predates American slavery and regardless of what slave owners told us, once we learned how to read we were able to decipher things for ourselves and we made it to where we are now using God and the teachings of Christ as a crutch for our sanity.

They tought us about THEIR god before they even tought us how to read.

And im Not denying the teachings of Christ, but if you did some research you'd see that Christianity might not be the best way to follow those teachings.
